Can’t believe the NBA is allowing games to go on in the middle of a war zone.

Temporal disorientation: A cognitive disturbance in which a person cannot accurately perceive or recall the passage of time, often believing past events are occurring in the present; commonly seen in dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

If anyone ever wonders what Bluesky Energy looks like, it’s this — this right here.

Taking joy in firing people isn’t just cruel...it’s deranged. If watching others lose their livelihood makes you smile, you need serious help.

Three key points:
1) The admin has been planning mass firings to begin in October since February
2) The work necessary to carry out mass firings is illegal during a shutdown, violating the Antideficiency Act, which carries a criminal penalty
3) This harms America, ridding us of talent and expertise

Dude had about a decade to get the out at first but instead decided to sniper the mascot in the 13th row.

The halftime show is sponsored by Apple, so certainly they’ll all be throwing their iPhones away any minute now…

Just Kings’ “defense” things…

Kershaw in his usual playoff form once again for old times’ sake, I see.

"long enough"

...hehehe

Dunk crew missed a dunk... fitting, actually.

I forgot about the round shot clocks... weird.

I do enjoy that Kings' preseason broadcasts are just simulcasts of the Jumbotron.

I've seen enough...hang it in the rafters!

In fact, I just checked and I'm at 32, and I don't feel like I'm being deprived or missing out on anything. I don't know how people manage the firehose of information that comes with following hundreds upon hundreds of people.

Over the years, I’ve realized it’s better to focus on quality over quantity when it comes to who I follow. Every so often, I go through my list and keep only the accounts that actually add value to my feed. It almost never goes much over a hundred people.

Go ahead a stretch your release timeline out a bit and release quality products... it's not like we're not paying an annual license fee for each seat, anyway.

This isn't a video game-specific problem, either. The primary software I use for work insists on releasing a new version every year. We always wait until the 2nd or 3rd service pack is released before "upgrading" because the initial release is always buggy as hell.

I do miss the days when you could buy a complete game...but I don't mind because we use it as part of his reward system. I'd rather spend $5-10 here and there on that than some cheesy toy that he'll play with for an hour, then get tossed in a closet and never seen again.

Yep, the kiddo has spent hours upon hours on Minecraft, and I don't want to add up how much has been spent on Minecoins at this point...

99% of my gaming is Forza, NBA 2K, or MLB: The Show -- so, yeah, I'm in that group that probably only buys 1-2 games a year. I don't have enough free time to commit to anything else.

(Also, the picture used in the article is nowhere remotely close to the area they’re talking about.)

I drive this road everyday. It’s only dangerous if you have the driving abilities of an inebriated chimpanzee.

My guess is the levee is eroding because nincompoops can’t stay on the road through some minor bends and it gets overrun with trucks during harvest season.

Why Yolo County is warning drivers to slow down on this levee road
South River Road is open — but with new warnings telling drivers to slow down.
