I finally completed my base game living Dex in Pokémon Legends: Z-A last night.
I have every Pokémon with every possible alternate form in both regular and Alpha.
I forgot to put Eternal Floette in my party but I do have it.

Very happy to see them actually make Diancie available, it's kind of unfortunate that they did it this was instead of having it natively available and tying it into the actual plot though.
I mean, it looks /exactly/ like the Mega Crystals and we're just not gonna do anything with that? Okay..

Mega Chimecho is really cool. Mega Baxcalibur is fine, although I think it of all things really didn't need a Mega.

Completed the first leg of my Pokémon Legends: Z-A Professor Oak Challenge.
This one wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be after I learned about the trick of fighting the X rank trainer with the level 18 Pigeotto over and over.
Also I picked Emboar mostly for the flex.

This feels so wrong. You can grind out battles and not do the other proper research tasks. Why? Who thought of that?

If you beat 1000 trainers then you have 1900 points of leeway for every other task. However, if you do every task except beating 1000 trainers, then you'll be 100 points short. In conclusion, beat 1000 trainers first.

Got my shiny charm tonight and finished the final optional mission. So I pretty much beat Z-A now.
Aside from the ridiculous requirement for the Shiny Charm I really enjoyed this game and it's a super solid experience. I liked the story, I liked the characters and it was a great experience overall.

Got my shiny charm tonight and finished the final optional mission. So I pretty much beat Z-A now.

Also in defense of my wife she has been my biggest supporter from Day 1 and was the only person I felt comfortable even discussing Mizuki with before she/her became the accepted norm. She's the last person who'd ever consciously repost something like that and this was 100% a genuine error.

Since there's major characters in Legends Z-A with Arbok, Staryu and Scraggy who all were shown to have Key Stones I'm totally expecting Mega Arbok, Mega Starmie and Mega Scrafty.
