For 2025 I'm going to keep track of the games I beat with this thread: Starting off with Professor Layton and The Last Specter! I'm a big puzzle boy so after finishing the first trilogy I had to keep going!

87. Beat Blackwell Unbound. Out of all of the Blackwell games this one has my favorite music I think. Solitude Begins is such a good somber song. It's been years but I still listen to it often. Lauren and Joey's dynamic works so well too, they're both so sassy. On to the next one!

86. Beat The Blackwell Legacy. Perfect series for spooky season. Putting the ghosties n ghouls to rest never felt so good. This series is a real good one not just from a point n click perspective but from a story telling perspective too. I'm deff gonna try to get through all of them again.

Ah yes, its been 8 years since A Hat in Time came out. So many grand memories have been created... What new memories will be created in the coming years? As always its been a pleasure to see people enjoying our work even to this day. Happy 8th Anniversary. #AHatinTime

85. Beat The Neverhood. I find myself coming back to this game a lot. The puzzles and claymation are fun and silly and I'd say pretty advanced for their time. The world itself is super liminal in nature, and the imagery is foreign and other worldly, its like existing in a weird dream. I love it.

84. Beat Hollow Knight: Silksong. I got the "bad ending" but thats part of the journey now time to get the good ending. I was going to beat the final boss with the dang parasite but I tried for a week and said forget it.

83. Beat 6 Days a Sacrifice by Yahtzee Croshaw. After all this time I still really like these games. The four part series was really well thought out. Even now YEARS after initially playing the games they still hold up. Leaving it on a semi cliff hanger still makes me want more though... poor Theo..

82. Beat Trilby's notes by Yahtzee Croshaw. I forgot this one had the typing mechanic and still enjoyed it. I can really appreciate the silent hill motifs in this one as well. Incidentally I think this ones actually supposed to be before 7 days.... whoops, oh well 🤷 also this one had a nice parser.

81. Beat 7 Days a Skeptic by Yahtzee Croshaw. I'm gonna preface this now, I am playing all of these at one time in the "correct" order to play them. The ending blew my mind as a kid for this one. I liked the chase mechanics even if I got a bit too prepared in some instances. on to TRILBYS NOTES

80. Beat 5 Days A Stranger by Yahtzee Croshaw. Fun fact this game and the other games in the "Chzo Mythos" series were my first look into indie point and click games. It's part of the reason I got into game dev. Starting october off with the rest of these and moving into other spooky titles.

79. Beat Inscryption. This game is always a fun time, from base gameplay to the lil secrets you can find. I don't normally dig card games unless they're the final fantasy ones (triple triad, ect) but I always come back to this one and all of Daniel Mullens other games. Can't wait for pony island 2!

78. Beat Sacrifices Must Be Made, The precursor to Inscryption by Daniel Mullens. I remember playing this when it came out and loved it so much. I'm deff gonna hit Inscryption again just because It's a fun card experience. I still wish there was a 1v1 mode with friends or something.
