Is there an amount of wealth you can acquire that helps you sleep better at night when, as a specially appointed official representing the US, you side with and embrace a murderous dictator like Putin? Does material wealth make Witkoff feel good about that? How much does it take?

For those asking for the context behind Bolsonaro’s insults at the start: he was still a congressman in 2014 and made headlines for being open about supporting the 1964 coup d’Etat. This was not a popular position in Brazil at the time. All Borges asked him was: “So there was no coup in 1964?”

ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

News coverage of DOGE’s creation earlier this year was practically wall-to-wall — for weeks. “$2 trillion in savings, $5000 dividend checks, an entirely new model of government.” And now that it’s gone, it’s like eh.

Broke: DOGE is dead

Woke: DOGE was specifically constructed in a way to avoid accountability partially by zombifying the USDS which still exists as an entity

Bespoke: Dead or not, there needs to be a blue ribbon committee and a massive internal cybersecurity review to root out all the damage.
