Centuries ago, humanity swore fealty to the select few capable of protecting them from the demons ever intensifying storm magic. Hailed as Gods, they created Pathway to keep their people safe. But as resources dwindled and populations grew, those on the periphery once again found themselves abandoned to the demons’ wrath. An orphaned child of the borderlands, Sebastian was given a choice; join his family in death or use his lethal magic to become a Stormchaser and fight for his Gods. Decades later, he is a weapon, the pride of the Stormchasers. Yet, as his magic continues to grow wilder,he must choose once again. Either attain more power in hopes of conquering his curse, or put an end to it before destroying the only love he has left. Alessandra lived in constant fear of discovery. With no clan willing to risk hiding her storm magic, her only option was to run. After a lifetime of looking over her shoulder, she finally found someone to take her in. That is, until a Stormchaser is sent to hunt him down. Alessandra is forced to face the consequences of not having enough power to protect the ones she loves, and loving the one she shouldn’t. The School Paper (Part 3) - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Gustopher and Liam are hanging out in Liam's room. Liam is laying on his bed because he's stressed. Stressed because Miss Horsehill asked him if he would consider writing for the school paper. He's thinking it over very carefully. Perhaps too carefully. It's consuming his every thought. Liam's little sister, Ember, is sipping on a juice box next to Liam's bed. This juice box will keep her wrath contained, for now. Liam: I love writing. And I like it when people read my writing. Panel 2 Liam continues staring at the ceiling as he voices his true concerns to Gustopher. Ember's going to town on the juice box. It's good stuff. Liam: But my feelings get hurt easily. I'm scared people might hate my work. Panel 3 Gustopher does his best to help Liam move his thoughts in a positive direction. Ember is preparing to speak as she notices that her juice box is about to run dry. She'll surely have grand pearls of wisdom to share with her older brother. Gustopher: Yeah, but there's also people who might love it. Sometimes you just have to take risks. Panel 4 Ember shall no longer be silenced. She has the obvious answer to this whole problem. Ember: AND I'LL BITE ANYONE WHO HATES IT! Liam: Ember, no. Ember: A SMALL BITE!
