100% this!! I took a mental health day last week and gave myself a three day weekend… excellent decision, 10/10, def recommend.
PSA to my skyline: it’s important to take care of your mental health! It’s okay to be tired and to need to slow down and take a break. It’s okay to do something for yourself. It’s okay to call out of work if you need it. It’s okay to ask others for help. It’s okay to put yourself first.🤍

I’ve come to the conclusion that T. Kingfisher is not the author for me. While I like her writing style, every single book I’ve read has been a bland AF story with dull characters.
This story was a slog to get through and it was a damn novella.
Pretty writing, no substance.

Parents need to realize that “the bus didn’t pick up my kid” doesn’t work as an excuse anymore.
School buses have GPS in them. We can tell you what time your kid’s bus stopped AND how long it waited. 🤷♀️

Honestly, it’s true. I deleted all my other social media and then joined bluesky and I love it here. It’s so peaceful.
I mean so what if bluesky is a retirement home for people who’ve been online too long, we get our little bingo nights & whatever popping.
