Working alongside these fellows has been a true joy. They bring so much talent to our team and I’m grateful for the time they dedicate to fighting for a stronger and healthier New Jersey!

It’s shameful to put your own career, as Speaker Johnson did, over the healthcare of millions of Americans.

I’m going to keep fighting to deliver what you deserve: actual affordable healthcare.

From manufacturing enemies to attempting to turn the military into his own personal army, Trump is painting a fuzzy picture through chaos and using the power of the government for himself, not us.

We must connect the dots.

It was an honor to speak to CAPASA last week about public service and how we can confront the moment we’re in as a country head on.

It’s conversations like these that keep me energized and optimistic about the future and the young people who are leading the way.

Let's set the record straight. Donald Trump has nothing to brag about when it comes to lowering costs for American families.

We have his tariffs to thank for the high costs we're seeing this year at Thanksgiving.

Cindy's story is not unique and an example why we must continue to fight so everyone can access the care they deserve. 2/2

During the shutdown, I sat down with Cindy and others in a NJ diner, and heard their plea to hold the line when it came to lowering healthcare costs.

Now, Cindy is facing an 85% increase in her healthcare premiums as a result of Trump and Republicans' failure to deliver any relief. 1/2

This Fall, I invited our interns to brief me on a policy issue they care about, and pitch legislative solutions. It was great to see the hard work they put in to tackle problems we face.

This next generation of young, bright leaders is exactly what our country needs.

We can’t continue like this as a country.

We can disagree and argue, but these kinds of threats are simply unacceptable.
From a spokesperson for U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin:

November is National Family Caregivers Month. I want to recognize all the caregivers out there who are doing the hard work of taking care of loved ones, often without pay or adequate support.

I see you and I'm going to be working hard to make sure you get the support you need.
November 21, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Costs are too damn high and after almost a year of Trump's chaotic economic policies, we're all feeling the impact.

Enough is enough. You deserve a government that actually cares about lowering your costs.

The Gateway Project will make life easier. As I heard this weekend, it’s about better access to work, school, and opportunities so New Jersey families can thrive.

Congratulations to Omar M. Abuattieh, a Rutgers pharmacy student from Holmdel, NJ, for being selected as a 2026 Rhodes Scholar!

I spoke to Omar on the phone earlier today and am so excited to follow his journey.

People of all backgrounds need to see a government working for them, not against them. That means tackling the affordability crisis and taking on corruption.

I’m proud to be in that fight alongside talented AANHPI leaders. 2/2

Trump is working harder to protect literal Nazis than he is to lower your costs.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

Regardless of how one feels about the message conveyed by these members of Congress, the President (the Commander in Chief) should never support calls for violence against them. 2/2

For all who condemned political violence in the past, this is one of those moments that clearly crossed the line of acceptability. 1/2
Trump is calling for the six Democratic lawmakers who urged the military not to follow any illegal orders to be arrested, and he’s reposting replies saying they should be hanged and calling them terrorists.

This week, I met with members of IBEW Locals 33 and 400 from NJ to discuss the impact of Trump's Big Disastrous Bill, which took away member jobs and opportunities.

We must support projects that put people to work, not give tax breaks to Elon Musk and his billionaire friends.

With unemployment on the rise, it’s clear Trump’s economy is not working for working families.

The American people want jobs and opportunity, not more layoffs and higher costs.

We’ve had enough of governing for Trump’s and billionaires’ interests.

We have a moral imperative to end the hunger crisis in this country.

Shame on us if we lose sight of our responsibility to help people in need.

Today, I joined @hungerfreeamerica.bsky.social to help them release their annual hunger report. In short: we're not doing nearly enough to help those who need it most.

In the richest, most powerful country in the world, no one should be struggling to figure out where their next meal is coming from.

The continued dismantling of the Dept of Ed is extremely concerning to me, especially as a father of two kids in elementary school.

We should be doing everything we can to support our kids and provide them opportunities—not dismantling every structure that exists to do so.

It's incredibly hard to fight hunger when you have a President that's actively taking food away from kids, seniors, and working families.

This is what cruelty looks like.

Today, I met with Heidi Murkoff, Founder of the What to Expect Project, to talk about how we can better improve maternal health outcomes and support expecting parents.
