Last week, I met with Korean American Grassroots Conference (KAGC) U Leadership Students and shared my experience working in government and politics.

It was wonderful to speak with these young leaders and encourage them to get involved in the political process!

Yesterday, I met with Bobbie advocates and shared my own experience navigating paid family leave, maternal health, and caregiving in this country.

I look forward to working with Bobbie and others to ensure families in this country get the care they need and deserve.

Citizens United was one of the first things I talked about on the campaign trail. It was the reason I ran for office.

Almost a decade later, I’m still fighting for a democracy that fairly represents all Americans.

Let me tell you why Trump is picking fights with Jerome Powell and why we need an independent Fed.

Happy Korean American Day! Proud to be the first Korean American in the U.S. Senate and celebrate our shared history, culture, and communities.

It was an honor to meet members of the NJ Children’s Choir at the Korean Grassroots Conference Korean American Day celebration. Loved that they performed ‘Golden’ from K-Pop Demon Hunters!

We must tackle food insecurity in our state. I look forward to working with the Lt. Governor-elect and our partners on the local, state, and federal level to provide resources to New Jerseyans.

I toured RWJ Barnabas Health Center in Newark today to discuss the importance of healthcare that meets people where they are.

Providing support in social services, food insecurity, and safe housing should all be elements of our care system. There’s no health without them.

Today, @menendez.house.gov and I met with members of NJ’s Venezuelan community and asked them what they think about this administration’s actions.

We owe them answers about Trump’s true motives and plans for their home country.

I don’t believe the lie Trump is telling about his motives in Venezuela.

It’s about enriching his wealthy friends and feeding his own ego.

This is a critical moment for the people of Iran. We’ve seen people bravely speak out about their future and the Iranian regime respond through violence, disinformation, and cutting Iranians off from the internet. 1/2

Since sharing my dad's Alzheimer's diagnosis publicly, I've been blown away by the support and your own stories about being a caregiver for a loved one.

Thank you for responding to my own with empathy, kindness, and words of encouragement. We'll continue to get through this together.

There's no question that many international institutions are no longer working as intended, or long past time for updating.

However, withdrawing from them en masse eliminates our ability to reform them, and cedes ground to competitors... 1/2

The Senate just passed a bipartisan vote signaling deep concern about Trump’s continued military actions regarding Venezuela. Americans don’t want us to “run” Venezuela and they deserve to have their voices heard.

Guess Trump didn't know about the housing affordability crisis when his party killed our bipartisan bill in December that would have helped lower Americans' housing costs.

Congressional Republicans are preventing the oversight of ICE actions across the country.

We must stop the recklessness that put lives at-risk.

You deserve to know what the plan, or lack thereof, is in Venezuela.

It’s time for the Trump administration to stop hiding behind classified briefings and answer your questions directly.
January 8, 2026 at 1:01 AM
It's absolutely ridiculous that Trump would say their action in Venezuela was a law enforcement action. All their excuses are just a guise for their extortion foreign policy.

New year, new things on the way. Coming to you in 7 days.

What will we tell future generations about January 6th?

I hope to be able to tell my boys that we can heal this country.
January 7, 2026 at 1:07 AM
January 6th reminds us that we are all temporary stewards of this country. It's up to us to ensure it flourishes long after we're gone.
January 6, 2026 at 10:24 PM
January 6th taught us how fragile our system of government can be.

We must learn the lesson and stay vigilant in fighting against all forms of attack on our democracy.
