The word "hokum" doesn't get used nearly enough.
Review: Just finished "The Five" by Robert McCammon. It's a flawed but heartfelt ride through the chaos of the music industry. While it's not perfect, it's filled with energy and emotions. Not one of Robert McCammon's better books. But the right reader would enjoy it. 3.5* 📚💙

If you're interested to read it, I just posted a new short story. (Only ~13 mins. long.) I wanted to do something like the 80s horror movies I love. However, when I read it, it doesn't feel like an 80's horror movie. (shrugs) Take a trip to the Nevada desert in '79. I hope you enjoy it.
