Today we honor Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and his leadership in preserving our Union and expanding democracy. As democratic values are tested once again, his reminder—government of the people, by the people, for the people—calls on us to protect democracy with courage, integrity, and vigilance.

Proud to stand with an energized crowd outside the Blakeman event this morning. The message was clear: we choose hope over fear, unity over division, and progress over going backward. When people show up together, our voices are powerful and democracy is stronger.

Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a reminder that talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. I’ll fight for strong public education, STEM access in every community, and policies that open doors for girls to lead. Investing in women and girls means investing in NY’s future.

Nassau County is putting politics over justice by doubling down on an ICE partnership that deports people before cases are resolved—undermining due process and public trust.

The Port Washington Democratic Club meeting was especially meaningful—hearing from Sean McCarthy and Rory Lancman, and then closing a chapter as my last meeting as president. I’m deeply grateful for this community as I step down to run for Assembly. This club will always be home.

Democracy doesn’t happen on its own—it happens because people show up. On 2/28 we kick off petitioning for the 2026 Democratic slate. Every signature matters. Join the team, help get us on the ballot, and build a government that reflects our community. https://f.mtr.cool/mjmdcqagsg

Proud to join Democratic candidates from across NY-03 at a coordinated summit yesterday. At a moment when chaos and cruelty are being normalized, it was energizing to stand with candidates and volunteers committed to restoring decency, defending democracy, and delivering for our communities.

Just wondering…When will local politicians like @norberforny finally break their silence on Trump’s open racism and the ways it is driving policy and hurting people?
