Today I honor the memory of the six million Jews and others lost in the Holocaust.  We remember the victims, honor the survivors, and recommit to confronting antisemitism and hate in all its forms. Never again.

Governor Hochul’s budget delivers a 3.8% boost in school aid to LI about $200M more for local districts with no new taxes except on vaping and nicotine. I will fight to protect this funding and make sure it reaches classrooms.
Long Island school aid: Hochul proposes 3.8% increase for 2026-27
If approved by the state legislature, the governor's proposal would boost funding for most Island districts, ranging from a 0.15% increase in Hauppauge to 34.4% in Amagansett.

Today marks 53 years since Roe v. Wade. Across the country, reproductive rights are under attack. In NY, we’ve fought to protect access and passed Prop 1 to enshrine rights. In Albany, I’ll keep working to ensure everyone can get the care they need.

Thank you to Long Island Press for covering my campaign and sharing my vision for the 16th Assembly District.

If elected, I’ll fight to lower costs for families, strengthen public schools, protect our environment, and be a strong, responsive voice for Long Island in Albany.

Today I volunteered at Sid Jacobson JCC’s MLK Day of Service making lentil soup and snacks for the Nikki Schwartz Memorial Food Bank alongside my friend Juliegh Chin. This was a meaningful and fun way to honor Dr. King’s legacy and give back. Grateful to the JCC.

I had many meaningful opportunities to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy over the past few days. Grateful to all who made these events so inspiring.

Today and everyday, we can honor Dr. King’s legacy by treating one another with compassion, standing up to injustice, and rejecting hate in all of its forms. Let us continue his work to build a beloved community. #mlkday2026

This morning I had a great time chatting with Herricks students and parents at “Waffles and Pancakes” at Herricks High School. Waffles were made by Youth Against Cancer students, benefiting the Morgan Center and Cohen’s Medical Center. Thanks for supporting cancer care and research!

I’m excited to invite you to my campaign kickoff on Wednesday, February 4th at Manhasset Bay Yacht Club! This is a competitive district, and we’re launching early with a strong grassroots campaign and real presence across AD-16.

I attended an “Enough Is Enough” meeting with Assemblymember Chuck Lavine. Enough fear. Enough lawless, inhumane policies. When ICE intimidates and divides, it’s not just immigrants at risk, it’s our democracy. Grateful to community members standing up for dignity.

I am following the protests in Iran and thinking of our neighbors here on Long Island who fear for loved ones. It is heartbreaking to see young people risking everything for freedom. My heart is with them, and we stand with their fight for basic human rights.

Iranians on Long Island watch in horror, hope as protesters fall in violent 'revolution' in their homeland
Some young Iranians in the U.S., frustrated by the news blackout, said they wished they could join protesters in the streets of their home country.

Inspired by Governor Hochul’s State of the State this week, affordability, public safety, education, and housing are top of mind. I’m ready to be in Albany next year, representing Long Island and making sure our families’ voices are heard.

I’m deeply honored to be endorsed by former Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti.
