Following up: My dad was transferred further because he had a C. auris infection, and the further facility was one of the places willing to take him. His previous facility couldn't take him. But... If it's to isolate him, why does he have a roommate at the new facility?

First: Congratulations!
Second: Each job is something you've earned. It wasn't "given" to you; it's a job.
They're hiring you, not gifting you a role.

Dad was treated like lost cargo by the hospital & shipped to a random facility 2 hours away instead of back to the one that was 30 minutes away.
They said to better isolate him. We visited the new place: He wasn't isolated at all; Same care as before.
Have patience for me if I come off as cross.

In animation I've seen plenty of people assume their dept. is the hardest/most vital. As someone who's worked from vis dev to final stringout I can tell you: it's all vital. It's all skilled work. An engine is an important car part, but it still won't run without wheels. Be a team, not a tier list.
