My employment provider asked if I was willing to work for a religious-owned aged care centre. I informed her that I would apply only if the centre commits in writing that they will not dismiss me for being trans. I refuse to work for them unless we start on equal footing.

You would think the 🇬🇧 is conducting experiments on 🐀 rather than on individuals.

All that is required is to inquire of every person who has experienced gender dysphoria; they will unanimously indicate that the most distressing day of our lives was the first day of puberty.

Australia, like our US and British nuclear submarine cousins, is fond of locking people up. Australia has returned to mass incarceration we now incarcerate a greater share of the adult population than at any point since the convict days.

This social media ban for kids is so damaging for trans kids. Many of the remote communities only have one or two out trans peeps. These kids are being cut off from the only other people on this planet that are just like them.

France has conducted a review of healthcare for young trans people and it has come out entirely the opposite to Cass. But then again the personnel involved had not been specifically selected to arrive at a politically-required outcome.

What a backwards place the UK has become.

Girl Guides in Australia not only accepts trans girls they also sacked the former CEO because she was a transphobe.

GIGGLE Vs Tickle is not a case determining who is a woman. That's already well established in 🇦🇺 law.

Giggle Vs Tickle is merely a discrimination case. The question is whether it is direct or indirect discrimination.

I argue the court will rule it was direct discrimination

Judgement due any day now
In 1993, it was accepted in 🇦🇺 that “sex” is changeable & that the “F sex” includes a person who has undergone gender affirming surgery to affirm their status as F

That was the conclusion reached by the Full Federal Court in Secretary, Department of Social Security v SRA (1993)

I previously managed a correctional facility housing pedophiles who were also parents, and a consistent pattern among pedophile parents is their opposition to sex education and consent classes for their children at school.

This is very sensible legislation. I’m certain it will outrage SOMEBODY or other…. This is such a win for intersex folk. And particularly for kids. Can we make this National wide please? Wait…the Qld government would NEVER go for it.

Trans women Vs c*s women athletes.

The truth is that there’s no clear evidence supporting that trans women
athletes have an advantage, let alone an “unfair” advantage.

The single significant contributing factor to incarceration is disadvantage.
If punitive measures worked, Australia should be a crime free utopia given our founding.

Recent Australian research from over 1,500 trans young people shows medical affirmation is associated with significantly better mental health outcomes.
What the evidence actually shows with gender affirming care.

🇦🇺 research tells a clear story. The 🌎’s most extensive longitudinal study of trans youth (630 participants followed over 20 years) demonstrates significant mental health benefits and safety.

An autoethnographic critique of a past report of inpatient psychiatric treatment for gender diverse children

Conclusion
The balance of evidence indicates that efforts to suppress or change gender identity & sexuality are ineffective, & actively harmful.

An autoethnographic critique of a past report of inpatient psychiatric treatment for gender diverse children
Contrary to ongoing representations of efficacy, “therapy” that aimed to change or suppress a gender diverse child served to delay self-acceptance for two decades and caused long term harm
