The US Postal Service recommends, and we agree, that if you're using the mail to return your ballot, mail it at least a week ahead of election day, November 4. Ballots will be mailed to you next week.

At 2 p.m. we will livestream the first audit of our tabulation system in preparation for General Election 2025. The stream will be viewable at kitsapvotes.gov. If there is a problem with the livestream, the event will be recorded and posted later.

Each election, we hand-count randomly selected batches of ballots to compare those totals with our tabulation system. It's not the most riveting show, but it's an important process witnessed by observers in person and on our livestream at kitsap.gov/elections.
