Toni was selfish af and all the things but the lady knew what she wanted like she didn't like short men. Every time she tried to be herself the girls would shame her for her behavior. the whole group just sucked lol

i think it's important to remember that woman should have full control over what to do with their bodies. I also think it's important to make sure that you don't have a bunch of yes man around you hyping up your bs. I really pray that ya'll have real friends who gently let you know what's up

it sucks cuz doja cat's personal life and how she has treated her fans really takes away from how she's viewed as an artist. I think she would be better received if she was like old school artist who were mysterious because she's grown a lot and the lady can rap and single... very flexible

i'm noticing that as well. i think the whole idea of a "critique" is becoming foreign to people especially if the tone isn't gentle. yeah i think the misunderstanding of choice feminism amplifies this as well.

I think two things happened there: Crissle's type of cultural critique is aging out of the zeitgeist a bit (she wasn't wrong just overtly harsh) and folks are still in the space of "whatever a woman does for herself is the correct answer" and that clashes with Crissle's take.

i've mentioned that sabrina has a kind of vibe of white feminism in a nutshell to me. where "choice feminism" is used to excuse behavior that is the exact opposite of feminism. but also not everything has to be about being feminism.
