I think everyone was shocked bc he was a bit older, and the professor was informing us about a lecture coming up regarding FD and someone coming to talk more about his life and works and gave a brief summary about what he did and what they’d be discussing and then “bam” we were all like 🤨🫢🥴
Ok. I’m glad they said something. I’ve been in classes where the prof just acts like it didn’t happen so we have to correct people.

It's funny (& not in a good way) how no one has said "how can we afford this as a country?" or "I DON'T WANT MY TAX DOLLARS GOING TO THAT" like they did for student loan forgiveness
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
