The past 3 days, I've been seeing this sliver of light in the sky at night. At first I thought it was just the moon peeking through the clouds strangely. Then saw it last night and was 🤔. Today, saw it again and took a photo; it revealed the truth. It does NOT look like this with the naked eye.

Yes, they’re saying it *was* okay before, and it will be okay for them in the future when the violence is aimed at the “proper” targets and by pointing out any similarities you can only weaken the political utility in the moment which is their chief concern.
