This is an helpful explanation. But does You Tube allow channel owners to create private channels?
Because I think users would feel better about not force unfollowing if they could at least make themselves private.

It would have to become a network-wide decision to start treating Bluesky Follows more like Instagram Follows and less like YouTube Subscribers.
I'd guess Bluesky thought if AT Protocol was always public, you wouldn't gate or remove followers since the info was already on display

I'll be honest, I don't understand the "it's been mid" but I'll admit my bias given a surprising performance by my team
Are their some different teams/new stars in the mix? Sure
But this season hasn't seemed any less entertaining or experienced a significant drop in talent vs recent years *to me*.
