It's pretty amazing to me the amount of shit that apparently you can Just Do as an NYC mayor. It makes basically every other American politician look like an incompetent loser.

The obsession of "peace" as a form of self-restraint in spite of the violence projected onto people when state harm is rampant is comparable to what I see folks tell sexual abuse victims ("don't seek revenge, allow the world to serve justice!").
