My uncle mass-texted the family so we could sign up for a “robinhood-type app.” He presented it as, “this will be good for building wealth,” as if we don’t know you get money for signing up as many ppl to these apps as possible 😭

I think that’s the line. People that are naturally selfish aren’t even considerate enough to realize they’re being that way. Considerate folks know when they’re choosing to be selfish, which I think can be a neutral or even positive thing. Selfish people are selfish whether neutral, postive, or bad.
