Instagram is the only fucking art site I have left that has any engagement at all.
I hate giving a damn, while there's all these artists who work in animation who don't even bother with portfolios, they all just get hired on rep alone. I'm never going to be in that world. I'm so tired

I just got this notification from this trial Meta is conducting. For art to be seen, fees are required. No more likes because your work is interesting to ppl, it is all just paid access to huge audiences. And these are just starting fees, they go up after a month. 👎😬😭

The bad side about having short hair for most of my life is that now I don't know how to braid my own hair orz

It will never cease to amaze me that people really try to commission big projects like this expecting to pay a month or two worth of salary... Especially tarot deck !!?? We are talking about 78 illustrations (with plenty of details to take into account if the person wants something accurate) +
Reminder for artists: don't get blinded by the "big number" for an art project. Remember to do the math.
$3,000 for a tarot card desk *sounds* great. But in reality you're only being paid $38.46 per artwork. And if each artwork takes 20 hours to make, you're getting paid $1.92/hr
