I'm revisiting a project I worked on for my concept art class that I'm still really proud of and I know that I've already shared some (or most idk) of the drawings I did for that class but I might do a master post compiling everything...

It will never cease to amaze me that people really try to commission big projects like this expecting to pay a month or two worth of salary... Especially tarot deck !!?? We are talking about 78 illustrations (with plenty of details to take into account if the person wants something accurate) +
Reminder for artists: don't get blinded by the "big number" for an art project. Remember to do the math.
$3,000 for a tarot card desk *sounds* great. But in reality you're only being paid $38.46 per artwork. And if each artwork takes 20 hours to make, you're getting paid $1.92/hr

It's kinda sad that I just stopped sharing lore of my ocs on Insta once i entered university, idk I just started to feel very conscious of people that I know irl knowing about them so I just stopped orz
