I did a comic version of the first episode of #TheMagnusArchives

I have more pages but this is just the first ones 👀
Front and back page for Magnus Archives comic. Back page: shows raindrops hitting a black inky void with a cigarette floating in it. Text: CAN I HAVE A CIGARETTE? An illustrated adaptation of The Magnus Archives episode 001 - Angler Fish, following Nathan Watts and his encounter down Old Fishmarket Close, Edinburgh. Front page: limited black and green colour pallet showing a face and hand reaching out from the darkness distorted by rain drops. The light from an angler fish seems to come from above him and covers the faces left eye in an orange glow. Text: A Magnus archives story. Angler Fish. Originally by Johnathan Sims, illustrated by Tegan [redacted]. Pages 1 and 2. Limited green, black and white colour pallet with orange as an only secondary colour. Page 1: close up of a mouth with a cigarette in it, then it cuts do smoke and pulls further away to reveal the man smoking it. We then see a top down view of him stood with another friend under the pub sign ‘The Albanach’. Page 2: the second friend, who has white hair, falls onto the shoulder of the first who says, “you sure you’ll be ok?” Nathan, our white haired man, pats his friends back and replies, “yeah dude”. We see Nathan walking off from the back while his friend watches, unsure. We get a close up of Nathan’s face which looks a little worse for wear and queasy. He then looks up… Page 3 and 4. Page 3: We see the back of Nathan looking up at the sign for Old Fishmarket Close. There are posters on the wall and one is a missing poster… Page 4: it’s a view of the alley looking up, following Nathan as he makes his way down it. He’s stumbling and leaning against the wall. We get a close up of his foot catching an uneven piece of paving and then his shocked side profile expression. Pages 5 and 6 These pages are kind of a spread but on the left we see him reaching out to stop his fall but falling flat on his chest. He pulls himself into a kneeling position and looks at his hands - we see they are scratched up and shaking. On the right we see him getting up and touching his head in pain. He takes a deep breath and lets it out.
