Since shes the main character,a large chunk of code has been compromised now that shes gone.So the game is pretty much not even complete anymore to be able to run anymore even with an emulator.Again though,hes not in pain, just frozen (unconscious).Shes accepted this and tries to enjoy her new life🌺

But some people are now posting old content and playthroughs of it online due to surging interest in lost media. Sometimes she sees him there in these videos/images.

The game is now dead media, and incompatible to run on current existing devices. He is not in pain, but their world is in a permanent standstill as code has gone corrupt and unreadable. So yes he remains trapped forever.

Yes. Ultimately, he succeeded in getting her to the real world despite ending up stuck in the game cartridge himself. Chelsea needs to grapple with everything she knew being fake, and her partner being gone. That said, she has new friends that make life better now. 🌺

The main issue is their video game is rather outdated and no longer compatible on newer consoles, so it was starting to grow defunct. Being a hacker, he found this out and didn't want to hurt Chelsea with this information or give her a chance to deny leaving.

Their world is (technically) not real-- its a video game--he isn't sure how to break this to her. He is a hacker and was trying to figure out how to find a way to get her to the real world, even if he cant go himself--in that case, he didnt speak as he was afraid she'd insist on staying with him.

Chelsea and her boyfriend fought about marriage; she didnt understand why he wanted to wed so soon when there was warfare occurring. He wouldnt tell her why, which made things worse. Secretly, he knew their world would be ending, and he wanted to just know her as his wife before it was over.
