Deep in the arid lands of northern Namibia, a miraculous artery of water traces the western and central border to Angola, and graces one of our planet's most beautiful waterfalls in a desert environment.

A moment of angelic beauty in Canada's Algonquin Provincial Park, as the rising sun penetrates clearing fog and touches pine trees, dressed in glittering dew. The transformative power of light is endless!

Although the wind was screaming in my ears it was a scene of serenity & breathtaking majesty as the Cuernos del Paine lit up in magnificent light. Light I had not witnessed in 5 years of exploring Patagonia.

For an all too brief moment, a giraffe is enveloped in a sea of golden light, a short-lived respite from the harsh, arid and unforgiving land it calls home. Somewhere in wonderful Namibia.

We explored a breathtaking wilderness & witnessed amazing scenes in the Yukon's Peel Watershed, Canada, but this was the most memorable: A spectacle of fast moving rain showers sweeping over towering, black mountain ranges.

A scene of vast proportions in Canada's Yukon, the foothills of the Ogilvie mountains, covered in colorful autumn tundra, rejoice in beautiful dappled light. For scale, note the trees on the foreground ridge.
