Hi folks, I'm Bun / Klaus a hobbyist UK game dev. I used to write TTRPG stuff and worked in Unity / C#, but now I'm picking up Godot.

Working solo I do a little bit of everything in games, but the real struggle is finishing something and staying focused.

There were a lot of firsts in this model - air brushing primer, freehand, effects, very detailed shading, and even some kit bashing with spare wings I had and parts from the blood angels upgrade sprue

You could even have dynamic block interaction so you never need to 'change tools' you just interact with all blocks using one or two buttons, but the interaction changes if you have the right tool in your belt. No more spade/hoe/sword/axe/pick juggling.

MC has a lot of dated core features they seem terrified to touch or change. My biggest gripe is wood tools, like... what's even the point? You make a wood pick purely to get stone then never use it again unless you run out of stone. Same as you'd benefit from dedicated tool slots off the item bar.

I finished pinball spire! It was really good, very skill based - but the spells help to make it more accessible. A great proof of concept, I'd love to see it go further and do more!
