I don’t mention this in the new INVENTORY but the Clientele’s version of an obscure Shack/Mick Head song called Closer is one of their most sublime, mysterious and magical recordings. You’re welcome. @backlisted.bsky.social theclientele.bandcamp.com/album/closer

The best day ever. It’s official. Also, our celebrant was Count Indigo. Isn’t that amazing?

Some lovely stuff here. Definite Christmas shopping opportunity, that will give you a warm thrill by supporting a lovely Indy seller.
It's been a very quiet week.
As a small business owner that’s a bit scary heading into my busy season.

So, if you're looking for unique #Christmas gifts, I make prints, homewares, cards & accessories inspired by midcentury design, music & architecture.

Rewatching this on iPlayer (even though I own it on BluRay - shut up) and it is always funnier, darker and more abstract and ambitious than I remember. It’s not perfect but it’s partly the imperfections that make it beautiful and unique.
Great news - one of the best mini-series ever with a dazzling & eccentric screenplay by Troy Kennedy Martin & superb direction by Martin Campbell is back on iplayer.
If you haven’t seen it then you’re in for a real treat.
Come for Bob Peck, stay for Joe Don Baker.
