I can talk at length about how cool bugs are, fidget with a brightly colored bubble popper, find beans make me gag, avoid wool and fleece, and get chastised over wanting to stay home and draw with crayons than going out to a sports game or concert.

Things such as obsession over certain media or subjects, an incessant need for fidgeting or touching, sensitivity to certain textures and tastes, an uncertain expression of emotions.

Not in any bit helped by tools or resources for NDs are often designed specifically for children.

Something I've struggled with, and imagine a lot of other neurodivergent folks do, is the classification or even just *feeling* of being adult children as autists.

I think partly this infantilization probably has a lot to do with cultural normals deeming certain autistic behaviors as immature.

Tho I agree, so often scenes can get spoilered by details that shouldn't be known in subtitles, or when subtitles cut off with an emdash or hyphen and you KNOW something's happening

Something that tremendously irks me is how nobody has really drawn attention to the new CDC recommendations of individual vaccines instead of the multivalent MMR vaccine because of risks of autism-- is directly quoting Wakefield's debunked "scientific" paper.

They know it's bullshit

Not the first job I quit early on, but also it's weird that "90 day probation" means I can be fired at the drop of a hat, but suddenly me quitting is wholly unfair.

old memory crossing my mind:

This time I quit a job on my second day because after all the abuse from management. I just peaced out and the manager got incredibly upset that I just quit as if I owed him something.

That is some bizarre entitlement to have there.
