I'd like to thank @escapepod.org for showing me how interesting and diverse scifi can be. I recommend their stories quite often.

As someone who reads a lot, I couldn't afford to buy physical copies of all the books I want to read. I really appreciate having the generally more affordable ebook option available and being able to easily borrow ebooks from the library too

A Mouthful of Dust is a really interesting addition to the Singing Hills series. I think this is one of my favorites 📚 #thiswitchreads app.thestorygraph.com/books/189e5e...

I was looking for a horror anthology, unfortunately this didn't hit right. It's more of a queer exploration of monsters which worked in some stories and didn't in others. app.thestorygraph.com/books/fed230... #thiswitchreads 📚

70 pages read but a dnf for me. I was looking for cozy but this was extremely cheesy and quite poorly written (Murder at the Pumpkin Pageant) #thiswitchreads #cozymystery #booksky

Trying to read Murder with Fried Chicken and Waffles, thinking oh wow the Black woman who wrote this has a lot of internalized misogony. Turns out it's written by a white man so it's just plain misogony (and racist stereotypes). No need for me to finish that book. #bookreview #booksky #cozymystery

Oh I love this idea! Maybe if I stay on this nature themed track I've been on Elemental makes the most sense... But I also love afrofuturism.
