Starting the day visiting Scarborough Fair with K&S.

Someone asked why they are sitting in a squash court. It's on the old Glemham Hall Estate, and was used for rehearsals by various artists during @folkeast.bsky.social

went to see #gigspanner yesterday, music was so beautiful. they’re brilliant. Drew the band so thought I’d post it too. Great tunes and great people. Glad they played haul on the Bowline it’s my favourite tune of theirs.

A glorious Gigspanner Big Band gig last night at The Junction in Cambridge. Songs from their splendid album Turnstone plus other gems. This band’s musicianship, energy and joy leave the audience in awe. We departed a happy crowd.

The first gig I saw at Nettlebed Folk Club was the wonderful @johnspiers.co.uk and Peter Knight, and last night they were back for the club's 50th birthday celebrations with the Gigspanner Big Band. Quite the most brilliant, exhilarating night of music I've experienced for a long while.
