Production software is still built by professionals who know how to do this - both with and without AI. And I see no signs of this changing so far.

Saw this at the cash register of my local grocery store. Regardless of your politics, the idea that the government’s now making it harder for you to get exact change at the store isn’t something you can ignore or blame on Biden & DEI.

Just because LLMs are pretty good at writing javascript doesn’t mean that building complex web UIs is “easy” - it means that there‘s a metric shit ton of training data for it to use.
