Family violence seems to increase during holidays. My own sister was beaten to death by her husband on Thanksgiving day. Please do what you can to de-escalate anger, find common ground, search for joy & peace, especially if emotions begin to run hot. Be well. Stay safe. Remember to love one another.

I'm not able to process the news that someone killed our national treasure, Rob Reiner and his wife. The weekend shootings were horrific enough to cause this to be a bad week for me and now this. I'm just going to go hide in the barn until the new year.

Many food banks also accept & distribute cat and dog food.
Many rescues & shelters also have food pantries.
(This is also important, because many people will cut back on quality & volume of food they eat. In order to keep their pets safe at home.) ❤️

I just donated twice the amount I usually spend on #Thanksgiving dinner to my local food bank. Please remember those in your community who will be going without abundance, or even basic nutrition, next month and for a holiday which symbolizes sharing good fortune and abundance. Donate what you can.

These pictures are the result of a “little fight” between a husband and my beloved little sister. She did not survive the last one. Domestic violence is always a crime; anyone saying otherwise is despicable. And more often than not, the woman and her children are the ones who suffer most.

I ordered something from Scotland in late January. It was in their fall line so not yet in stock. I received it yesterday after paying $137.37 in tariff for a $350 item.That is a 40% ransom for something ordered before tariffs began. #tariff
