The first time I tried drawing Victor in my art style, it did NOT go well, so for a while I tried to emulate Ito's art style as best as I could to get a hold of his defining characteristics. Now I've become so comfortable with drawing him that I can give him my signature (or dreaded) nose triangle of shading my usual shape language for hair.

...Nothing's really changed.

As much as I loved the artwork in the manga, there were times where I felt that the facial expressions weren't intense enough for what was happening. Of course, this is amateur American cartoon artist me talking, but I tried it anyway. I think I could have done better... don't really know what to do with the mouth...

I tried to ignore it, but I eventually geeked out and took it off a *second* time and glued it back on. Then I mixed some paint to reapply to the naked areas (because hot glue sticks to paint) and it's all good now.

So while taking out the chinstraps of the helmet, I had to take off the metal plate in order to get a better grip on it (it was that difficult) and when I glued it back on, I realized too late that it was misaligned.

The costume includes: a black tanktop, brown pants, black boots, dark green socks (I picked those out cause I thought they fitted the best), a prop hammer, candy cigarettes (got those in San Francisco when I was visiting my friend) and the helmet. It's finally done!!! Decided last minute to remove the bike straps bc they were annoying and breaking the immersion and it was such a pain in the ass that my mom walked in to ask me why I was cussing so much lmao #Psychopomp

Added the felt pieces today. Had a goof up on the sideburns but it was an easy fix

The felt hair is hanging up to dry because I tried to wash it, but hot gluing all the felt stuff on is the last step I need to take to finish the costume.

I made lots of progress on my #Psychopomp cosplay yesterday!!! Really happy with how everything turned out.

A prop hammer I ordered from Amazon that I painted to have a brown handle and blood on the head.

I couldn't be arsed to make a wig so I made some hair pieces out of felt. Ignore my thigh

The full fit. The cosplay is like 90% done at this point, I just need to finish the helmet. The helmet's in its ugly stage rn but I have the means to fix it I think.

The Freddy Fazbear socks are not part of the cosplay, my friend got them for me so I could piss off my mom. I also got candy cigs while I was there because I thought it would be a cool addition to the costume

Staying at a friend's house this weekend
