Anyone who has seen any uni or corpo environment knows that internal politics (that often come from overregulation) take more time than actual work.

The problem is that it's ok to have some research on non technical stuff, but if even technical stuff is researched without the cooperation with industry you spend a lot of time spinning wheels. And you probably already have a lot of internal politics that you have to spend time fighting.

In the case of Poland the research is often done not to monetize it but just for research sake. Then the parents that are worked on with university funds are then sold to western companies and not get used locally.

Regulations. Before anything can get done in Europe it has to cut for so much red tape it becomes out-researched in the US. It's not only the problem of wages. There is just no hunger for the innovation in Europe and U feel there is too little cooperation of universities with industry.

It has bad pacing. Most of the season it was long and boring. It's another proof that some series should not have been 8 episodes. It's also another proof, that Gunn may be a good director, but he needs help with screenwriting. Both Creature Commando and Superman had a bad script

Peacemaker season 2 is not great, I would say not good either, average at best and horrible at its worst. Other than a predictable twist and hit or miss humor (mostly miss) it compressed its most interesting aspect into the final episode, that should be a whole season.

Looking at what's happened with Xbox through the years, I feel that Microsoft has one of the worst marketing teams. At least the gaming division feels like something that is constantly sabotaged.

Ah, ok. Still I feel we will get a lot of gloating. As for the lasting peace in the middle east it will not happen. I would not even consider there will be such a thing.Even if you had no Jews there is enough friction there, that you could get plenty of war between different nations in the region.

If the annoying orange gets his dreams Nobel for peace it will be the biggest joke.

I feel that Macron is a bad politician. Just not very good at his job. He made a lot of bad decisions. I feel he really wasn't able to push his own agenda. He wasn't really effective in international politics and wasn't really successful internally, slowly eroding his own power.

I remember talking about shotgun drones some time ago as a cheap method of fighting drones. Just saw footage of one. It works!

The older I get, the stronger I feel that Microsoft has one of the worst me marketing teams out there.

... being profoundly perplexed why poles aren't trusting them and feel like they should be always suspicious of German intentions. And this is a lesson for all of those who think that you could federalize the EU. There are too many national interests to make it happen.
kwadrat.bsky.social
But why. Germany risks nothing but trading the stability of their neighbors (possible competition). Russia is close enough to do business with and far enough so it's not scary. As I said before, when the dust is settled they will continue to suck up the gas like nothing happened and ...

Maybe the color print is more expensive, by a little bit, but overall it's cheap. I know some people that have been publishing their own comics so you really don't need a lot of money to publish these days. When in the commie times it was from hard to impossible.

And if you want you can get a digital version that is even cheaper. Finding a decent book for $5-15 is easy and if you are into used books you can easily get something for even less. The print really got cheaper. For the most part the book prices stayed the same while inflation got up.

I feel that even in the east block, once you have a TV and VCR, you get a lot of free entertainment from them as trading pirated movies was common. And books could have been as expensive as movies.

As for prices of books I feel that they're cheaper today. At least in their basic editions.
