When everything gets called “woke,” it’s Kentuckians who pay the price. Trump just cut $100M from a Christian County battery plant, and more cuts could hit Maysville and UK next.

When progress becomes a culture war, our workers lose.

Trump slashes $100M from Kentucky battery project, reportedly weighing further cuts
New cuts by the Trump administration to clean energy funding have targeted one of Kentucky's largest ongoing development projects. More could follow.

This morning, my op-ed on the dangerous rhetoric from Hegseth and Trump was published.

As a patriot and a veteran, I couldn’t stay silent about talk of turning our troops against American citizens. That’s not strength, it’s dangerous.

Honored to recognize my constituent & athlete at CrossFit Maximus, Chelsey Gerardi, who set the Firefighter Challenge Junior Female World Record this summer. An incredible achievement, and even better to celebrate it with our CrossFit community!

This is how you speak truth to power. Brother Christian Matson of Pikeville called out the dishonesty of congressional republicans and stood up for Kentuckians in this letter to Congressman Hal Rogers.

I was honored to attend a beautiful ceremony today dedicated to remembering Kentucky’s fallen firefighters. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. The legacy they left lives on in every life they saved and in the hearts of everyone who knew them.

As a combat veteran, I never thought I’d hear an American leader brag about throwing out the rules of engagement. 🤯

Calling for maximum lethality is a green light for war crimes and will put our own troops in harm’s way. This isn't strength, it's reckless.

Hegseth: 'Defense' is out, 'killing people and breaking things' is in
There were no "firings" or "loyalty oaths" but what Secretary of Defense (War) Pete Hegseth called a "liberation" for "America's warriors" as he spoke to more than 800 generals and admirals brought in...

Coal kept the lights on in KY, but now we're paying the price with rising energy costs and the nation's highest cancer rate.

We don't need a ban, but we DO need an all-of-the-above energy strategy to save Kentuckians money while adding years to our lives.

State races don’t have quarterly deadlines, but your support still matters. Help me close out September strong so I can keep being a voice for people over politics in Frankfort.

Thank you to President McFaddin and everyone at @easternkentuckyu.bsky.social for making my family feel welcome at last night's EKU Football game! The Colonels came out with big 27-7 win on family weekend!

Thanks to everyone who came out in Midway for such a perfect evening yesterday. I loved getting the chance to
talk about what we can do together instead of letting ourselves get distracted by political division. And I’ve got to say, the “All in for Adam” menus were a pretty awesome surprise 😁

Join us this evening in Midway for a chance to connect and talk about the important work we're doing.

Kentuckians made it clear at the ballot box in November that we believe in public schools. I couldn’t be prouder of the teachers, staff, and students here in Fayette County. To honor their work, we need transparency and a renewed foundation of trust.

Saturday’s listening session showed how valuable it is to have real conversations.

With cooler weather coming, I’ll be out meeting neighbors on Saturday mornings. Join me next weekend in Copperfield and sign up at the link to be part of our volunteer team 🙌

Grateful to everyone, neighbors and members of the press, who came out to Open Ears, Open Minds this morning.

Our communities, our Commonwealth, and our country are all stronger when we come together to listen. The future depends on our ability to build bridges, not barriers.

Looking forward to a weekend of conversations and connection. Come share a coffee with me at 9am tomorrow, or lace up and join me for door knocking at 11am.

Together, we can rebuild the trust in one another that we so deeply need.

Today is Constitution Day, a reminder that our democracy is built on both rights and responsibilities.

The Constitution set the foundation for a government meant to serve the people. It’s up to us to keep pushing to make that promise real: protecting freedoms and ensuring every voice is heard.

A lot of us feel on edge right now. Division makes it hard to feel heard or understood.

That’s why I’m hosting Open Ears, Open Minds - a casual hour at Luna’s Coffee Shop. No speeches, no agenda, just real conversation about what matters to our community.

What would you say if I knocked on your door today?

Normally I’d be out knocking on a Saturday like this, but after such a heavy week I think it’s best to wait a little longer.

But I still want to hear from you. Drop a comment and let me know what’s on your mind.

9/11 reminds us of both courage and unity. Heroes ran toward danger, and a nation came together. In light of yesterday’s senseless tragedy, may we find that same strength to stand united when it matters most.

Violence is never the answer to political disagreement. Our democracy exists so we can resolve differences as civilized people, not through bloodshed.

After all, the American experiment was about people from different backgrounds and beliefs coming together to form one nation.

Today we honor the workers who built this country and keep Kentucky moving forward. Labor Day isn’t just a long weekend, it’s a reminder that workers deserve fair wages, safe workplaces, and the right to organize.

When workers do well, Kentucky does well.

Happy Labor Day! ✊
