We had a very fine Monday Morning Sing Song. Lots of songs, and chatting, and then we raided @kaseysnow.bsky.social who is currently drawing bison and the vibe is so lovely!

The male lead in the holiday romance I'm watching where missus takes a wrong turn into the woods is totally a serial killer. Absolutely, undoubtedly, a serial killer.

We have started our holiday tradition of letting Hallmark movies roll during the holidays. This chick is going to dump literally Satan Jeff (who has an apartment and a job) for Man Child Ben who still lives with his mom and has clearly never set foot off the ranch.

I am begging film and TV directors. For the love of God, please stop having people order food in restaurants and then leave without eating.

The Youtube Algorithm suggested the World Championships of Shoe Shining and I insisted we watch. It's taking place at some trunk show in England, and I believe that the actual host must have cancelled and they just grabbed some guy walking by who does not understand the gravitas of the competition.

Nothing like when your Yakuza screenshots show up in your photo searches!

I startled a spider this morning and she ran under my desk.

She's just sitting there.

I cannot tell if she has molted and gone on, or if she's just mesmerized by my rainbow computer fan.

Unless the thieves are a rival ballet company, I desperately want to see the facial expressions when they open that truck and discover they've stolen the set for the Nutcracker.

Who stole the Nutcracker set? Travelling ballet says moving truck with backdrop inside was swiped | CBC News
A ballet company on an Ontario-wide tour of The Nutcracker says someone stole the moving truck storing its “irreplaceable” sets and backdrops.

I'm generally a 'To each their own' kind of a person, but this. This is an abomination. It's listed at over 11 thousand dollars.

Light and loopy schedule this week! We'll start with the regular Monday Morning streams.  The Weekly Warble will be two hours later this week, and we'll sing about Dancing.  Yakuza Friday is Yakuza Saturday and a little later.  No writing stream, and only two TikToks scheduled this week. #music

We're watching after the fact, so no spoilers please, but watching the World Weightlifting Championships so it's time for my annual reminder of how much I simply adore Maude Charron. (

And all the other weightlifters. What a sport!)

Extra stream on top of all the regulars this week. Jumping on the Cultural Exchange Raid Train on Saturday, songs of November on the Warble. Will work on finishing songs I started in 2025 on the writing stream. #music

Well that was a good game. I was going for the Alouettes of course, but as I have Saskatchewan roots, and I do love it when old athletes do well, I can't begrudge the Roughriders their victory.

The investment banking video with the talking snail seems waaay more realistic and far less offensive than the smug fuckers in all the Questrade commercials.

Watching the Grey Cup now. That advertisement about the Moose being excluded from Holiday festivities really tugs at the heart strings.

Also, do people outside of Canada know who Our Lady Peace are?

Also, apparently this is the day I find out who Machine Gun Kelly is.

We've been watching a lot of Portrait and Landscape Artist of the Year, and I'm so disturbed by the artists that wear like, a white shirt, or a nice dress, and don't get any paint on it.

What monstrous freaks of nature are these?

Images and videos that I did not take have been mysteriously showing up in my camera roll for a few weeks. Today I worked out it's all coming from Whatsapp, which I had to download for a job. A job for which I also had to do extensive training on cyber security. (1/2)

He made several stops along the way, allowing passengers to get on and off, police say. He was then arrested.

Some changes in the schedule as I'm taking some time for Remembrance Day and MusicNL Week.  No change in the Monday Morning Sing Song or Friday Yakuza.  TikTok is quite different this week so keep an eye!  #music
