The CL run changes nothing for me in terms of us urgently needing to move on from Frank but my goodness it’s been good to have that distraction, that glimpse of light in the dark. The standard of opposition has been v bad but I also think our players have showed they are capable when set up right.

I thought Kinsky was fun. Liked a psycho wannabe midfielder in goal, and thought he was a perfect backup while he tried to hone the rest of the craft. But if they'd seen enough to think he won't get there then I'd file this one under 'take the money while you can and move on'. Still a bummer.

Fixtures did not fall kindly for a Frank crisis. You want to give him the January window and those easy fixtures to turn it around, but those are the same things you'd want to offer a replacement. Now you have tough fixtures, a new wave of injuries, and no window to add on offer for a new guy

For sure, I've lost some faith but clinging to optimism. Just have to hope they were fooled by Frank (his introductory comments were promising!) and are keeping him around because the timing is difficult to replace him, with the focus on getting that replacement right. #coys
