The joy on the street yesterday was palpable. May all tyrants be defeated!
Hundreds of Syrians celebrated on the streets of Glasgow yesterday after Syrian opposition groups swept into Damascus and ended Bashar al-Assad’s rule.

Buchanan Street rang out with songs and slogans from the Arab Spring and both Syrian and Palestinian flags were visible.
