like I effing hate our insurance company (and insurance in general) but without it I would be rawdogging my MS because the medicine price is outrageous

I realize I didn't talk about how my first dose of Kesimpta went.
Injection was super easy, I didn't feel it at all. But about 6 hours after I started to feel like I had the flu. Aching, fever, dizzy, nauseated, etc. that lasted until partway through the next day and then I was fine.

I really feel for the guys who clear snow off the roads and sidewalks. I'm laying in bed rn listening to them work out there and the snow is not letting up any time soon so they're just gonna be at this all night.

I love watching (good) medical shows and lately I've been watching medical reality/documentary shows and I have seen multiple neurosurgeons that wear surgical caps with brains on them and that's just delightful tbh. They really love what they're doing and it shows.

Insanely jealous of people who get MRIs done at places that let you listen to music/podcasts. I just had to lay there in pain with earplugs that only sort of lower the volume on the hell noises, and I just tried to play word games in my head. Music or whatever would be so nice.

Apparently the AI bros are on another round of "Hatsune Miku is AI, checkmate luddites" so this is just a reminder that the singer behind Miku was paid and still earns royalties, and beyond that, Miku is nothing more than a MIDI soundboard with advanced pitch converter options, it is not genAI.

My other blood tests aren't back yet but the immunoglobulin is... My IgM is a bit high, which from what I can tell is pretty typical in MS and/or inflammation? There was some inflammation on my spine in my recent MRI so that double checks out.
