I think people say that when it's instances like Sonic '06 and Forces. The writing for some of the games is downright atrocious. Mario games tend to have very good stories, even when the plots can be somewhat basic. Paper Mario has one of my favorite stories in a Mario game.

To be honest even when I watched Nin10do Land regularly, his content always felt a bit off it me. A lot of videos felt kinda clickbaity, (But do what to fight the YT algorithm I guess) and he just gave me major Calobi vibes.
the original thumbnail is at least not questionable but it still uses a render that has a completely botched credit in the description (the render was included with Glady's Mario rigs and yet the video's description links to a DeviantArt rando's reupload of it)

For week 3 I drew Crash & Cortex reenacting Frankenstein, since I feel like the characters in question would fit a seen from that story. With Dr. Cortex as Dr. Frankenstein and Crash as the monster!
