i'm confident most people i went to high school with remember Fawful. They may not have ever played a game with him, but they certainly know him as that one character the special kid wouldn't shut up about and drew EVERYWHERE. I mean just look what i left in someone's yearbook.

i honestly want to do a video about how the Mushroom Kingdom is a less interesting setting now than it used to be. You don't have your Paper Marios or your Bowser's Inside Stories that have all these unique species just naturally in the kingdom anymore. All unique stuff comes from outside it now.

TTYD at #21... y'know after how a lot of these have gone I'll take it. Still think it should've been higher, with more of the Mario RPGs making it in too, but i think even this placement indicates a legacy that contradicts the "it's too niche to be included in the main Mario brand" narrative.

This actually was in the works at one point (well, live action+CG). Thankfully didn't come to be.

i find myself thinking a lot about how a movie adaptation of a Paper Mario game, despite how amazing it would be to see, I have no idea how it could be titled. They couldn't call it Paper Mario without that artstyle, but at the same time I can't see that style working in movie form.

you know i'm actually a little surprised we know this much about the Mario Galaxy movie at this point. Isn't the only reason the floodgates opened for the first movie the previous year because they'd locked in the McDonald's toys for its original December release date and couldn't delay that?

what do you MEAN the ghost vanishes when you enter photo mode on "race with ghost" time trial mode
What other reason would you ever specifically go into that mode and use photo mode. Just use regular time trials at that point, why go out of their way to add this option if there's no point.

i feel like an "everyone is here" style roster would be much more feasible and manageable in Mario Kart than Smash Bros, so if the latter managed to do it i have no idea why it evades the former
also Kamek could have easily been playable in World and Magikoopa used for the item (perhaps orange)

The pre-Deluxe MK8 era existed, i'm nostalgic for it at this point tbh
