I should’ve taken a photo. She wouldn’t have wanted to be seen that way, but my elderly mother is in a hospital now for surgery after breaking both her legs (and now has RSV 😢), and her right hand looks exactly like Trump’s.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

The sad thing is that the NRA started out as a lobbying group for gun manufacturers. They tolerated the weird freaks b/c there was $ in it. Then the freaks took over.

My 95 year-old mother fell and broke both her legs, and successfully came out of the second surgery last night, but now I have to jump on a plane to beat a snowstorm before I get stuck. Could it not have waited just a few more days?
