I haven't touched a zine since my punk days and after visiting Middlesborough uni's art dept a few weeks ago I was inspired to get involved again and start a photozine that's centered on exploring our connection with nature 😊

Snap! I just used 2kgs of green tomatoes along with chilli, mango, and lime to make an amazing chutney.

No matter how dark things get, I will never stop being enchanted by the world. Every day I walk by a river on the way to school and I see a heron hunting for fish, I see the trees turning colour, the sun behind morning fog... We live on a planet full of life and it will never not be amazing to me.

Yeah that's a Leopard slug, I did a course on slug ID last year and realised that what I thought were Leopard slugs that hang around in my garden were actually Green Cellar slugs. There were other tells such as the colour of the slime but I can't recall that off the top of my head 🙂

Looks like it, although sometimes they can be confused for Green Cellar Slugs, if the tentacles were reddish-brown then it's a Leopard Slug, if bluey-grey it's a GCS.
