she ended up becoming a lantern as she hopes to help him achieve his dream and become a "human," and after finding out her creator was alive, now hopes to find him, too, to show her progress.

and the satellite were destroyed during one of Darkseid's attacks on Earth. She had been in a sleep chamber when passing Blue Lantern's found her, bringing her back to their home planet.

H.O.P.E. does use she/they pronouns as they were often used by her creator, and he was also the reason

H.O.P.E. is short for Holographic Online Personal Equerry, a name given to her by the Lanterns who found her after the destruction of her creator's home place. She was intially made to be a companion and assistant to those who would visit the "hotel" satellite. Unfortunately, her creator (father)
