I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

I remember football fall *used* to start on the Monday after Star Trek Las Vegas when I'd be loading out, glance at the USAToday on the newsrack in the hotel store, and check the first Top 20 poll there in early August.
Seems like we can blame either climate change or 24/7 media for most everything.

This is me re: YouTubers as well—these 150,000+ -sub channels where the info is unchecked rants or rando urban myth, or murdered misconnected dots...and ESPECIALLY where you never even see a human connection. I get it that not everyone is "made for TV," but c'mon—at least a face to intro, or close!

The conventional wisdom long before I had the carto-keys just made Ceti Alpha into Alpha Ceti and a real-world placement, and everything in relation has sprung up from there (it was a waaaay long ways out, per the 23rd C speed/distance scales).

That's the *ACA* tax credits, meant to make health insurance affordable (because for all it did, we didn't just go ahead & join the rest of the world with universal coverage. So the Dems got it done (no help) but it was a patchwork. And Big Insurance still gets its middleman's cut from a basic need.
