Mand & I are coincidental friends with #metastaticbreastcancer in common.

We talk about what’s it like to live with terminal disease. A lot of cancer conversations are about recovery so we talk about death and dying so you feel you can too.

We took part in an attempt at breaking the record for number of participants who completed ‘chair based exercise’ over a 30 minute period.

Today, I'm MRI-ing & living the dream lying perfectly still in a giant magnet scanning for answers, not setbacks. If you've not had a scan on your head before, this is incredibly noisy as the vibrating gradient coils bang, clank and knock. It's an experience and a privilege.

First round of chemo done and the side effects are manageable.

I do think living with #metastaticcancer, we live with a degree of discomfort and pain. So chemotherapy is a bit like a ‘busman’s holiday’, right?!
