If you didn’t see my post from a couple of days ago, I got laid off from my job.

My wife and I are very lucky that she does the job that she does and makes a good living.

Either way it’s been tough for me because I’ve been wanting to go back to work full-time.

Our photograph shows a calm river scene on a cold, frosty morning. The river runs gently from the foreground into the distance, curving slightly as it flows. The water is very still and glassy, reflecting almost everything above it like a mirror. On both sides of the river are grassy banks covered with a light coating of frost, giving the ground a white, sparkling appearance. The left bank curves inward toward the water in the foreground, where a small fallen branch rests partly in the river. A dark waterbird, likely a cormorant or similar bird, is perched on the branch near the water’s edge. Tall, bare trees line the riverbanks. Their branches are thin and leafless, as it now fully winter. These trees are strongly reflected in the river, creating an almost symmetrical image of trunks and branches both above and below the waterline. In the middle distance, partly hidden by trees, are old stone buildings that resemble a small castle or fortified structure with square towers. Behind them are a few more buildings and rooftops, blending into the landscape. The sky is a deep, rich blue at the top, gradually fading into a pale golden-yellow near the horizon. Soft, low clouds stretch across the sky, glowing slightly with warm light. This warm light contrasts with the cool blues of the water and the cold tones of the frosty ground. Overall, the mood of the image is quiet, still, and serene, with a strong sense of early morning cold, gentle light, and peaceful reflection. Finally, our picture is finished with a simple white border frame.

Truly, it baffles me as someone who grew up in the south.. many who voted for him are the same ones who are dependent on programs such and SNAP, etc.

Makes you wonder. 🤷🏻‍♂️
