Is Assassin's Creed Shadows any good for someone new to the series? Apparently the Switch 2 version is quite good, the only one I've played before this is like an hour of the remaster for Assassin's Creed 2.

Glad that Prime 4 has gotten pretty good reviews. The open desert area seems to be the biggest sticking point which is a shame, but apparently everything around that is top-notch as hoped for.

Doing one of the Dragon Quest II's new superbosses and this dude is such a petty little cunt he spams the spell that has a chance of just permanently removing a party member for the ENTIRE battle (so they get no exp if he dies) and then does nothing but have stupid high defense and sometimes debuff

Final Fantasy XV being 9 years old freaks me out. I remember the pre-release buzz and launch day when it finally materialised after the several-year wait. Didn't play that much of it myself, but I thought it was an alright game at least.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario and Luigi's level-up stat gains are bizarrely based on what level Bowser is currently at. If he is at a "good" level, they will be several times more powerful. The game does not tell you which levels are good and which are bad.

Been ages since I last played a Mario sports game (despite the Switch ones interesting me, I never got around to buying them) and Mario Tennis Fever interests me. However, there is few forces on this earth that make me as angry as Mario sports games, so I am worried it'll just really get on my tits.

Very much a fake Metroid Prime fan since the only one I've played is Prime Remastered (the Wii original gave me motion sickness that stopped me playing FPS games, ironically the remaster 'cured' it) but I'm super excited for Prime 4. I have confidence that it's going to be amazing.
