I can't say this enough. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I had just written a lockdown scene in my script yesterday. I'm just so shaken. I applied to an English program there 23 yrs ago. I just wrote a lockdown scene in my script. I thought, 'but this isn't hitting colleges'. What an insane country this is. Damn these lax #gun laws. My heart goes out to the #Brown community. #Brownshooting
The news out of Brown University is heartbreaking. My heart is with the victims, their families, and the entire campus community. We cannot accept this as normal. We need real action to keep our communities safe.

My heart goes out to @jimmykimmel.com on the passing of his dear friend #CletoEscobedoIII. I have never cried so much hearing someone tell the story of loss. Jimmy, you know how to love and he was lucky to have you as a friend. My condolences to Cleto's mom and dad (Cleto II) and family. So sad.
