(Art 1/3) This is a traditional sketch that I did of the Fairy Queen from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, which I added colour to digitally. I'm planning to do a digital version sometime, along with the other two. As this is the first one I did, it has a similar background to the other two, except the background is a light-ish pink tone rather than white. The shape behind the character is also more square, but still features a slight gradient. It also features the same idea of having two sets of diagonal lines, this time one on (your) top left corner and the bottom right. There is a slight texture, but unlike the other two I added stars to this one. The character also has a slight outline too. - yesbutterfly. (Art 2/3) A traditional sketch (with colour added digitally just to make it a bit more interesting) of Adeleine from Kirby64: The Crystal Shards looking towards the viewer holding her paintbrush and palette. This is a mini-revisit attempt working towards someday (maybe) redoing an older piece, which I originally did of her and Ribbon as a result of me playing Star Allies. I just mostly wanted to keep the sketch simple, but cleaning it up and even adding colour to it was a trial this time for whatever reason, so I've just done what I can with it for now. Forgot to extend the colour of the sock on her left leg but ah well...I'm a bit happier with how she's turned out - maybe someday I'll also be able to get her legs the right length....lol... Anyway, for more detail, the background is white, with a rounded edged square behind the character, which is a light pink/purple(ish) gradient. It has a bit of a texture to give it a papery look in the shape of a with a line cut part-way across diagonally from the ('your') top left corner and the bottom right corner which is white to make it look like its cut from the background. The character also has a white outline to make her stand out a little bit more. - yesbutterfly. (Art 3/3) A traditional sketch (with colour added digitally just to make it a bit more interesting) of Ribbon from Kirby64: The Crystal Shards holding one of the crystal shards and looking towards the viewer. I decided to keep a bit closer to her design clothing and a bit more proportion wise (actually I just made her a slightly larger chibi.) For some reason her sketch was a bit easier to work with than Adeleine's...idk...I guess it was just me at the time. The background is white, with a rounded edged square behind the character, which is a light pink/purple gradient. It has a bit of a texture to give it a papery look in the shape of a with a line cut part-way across diagonally from the ('your') top right corner and the bottom left corner which is white to make it look like its cut from the background. A panel from my webcomic, Hex & Seal. Hex and uncle Clem are planting a strawberry field with grandma Launi's guidance. Clem is setting the strawberry saplings in their holes but it seems he's making some sort of mistake as Launi says something to Hex and Hex has to translate for Clem. Clem looks surprised. I'm sure he'll fix his mistake in no time at all! A panel where Hex and Jake the undead mailman are walking their dogs on a late summer evening. The forest road is in shade but the sun's warm, yellow glow still makes the tree tops shine. Jake shrugs with a playful smile. Lucky me, he says, can't catch colds when you're dead! Hex smiles back. I could do without colds... A panel where Hex is heading out in the morning, wearing his red leather jacket. He turns in head in surprise as his hound, Luck, chases a hare away from the newly-planted strawberry field. The dog can't follow the hare into the woods as she's held back by a magical leash but she's doing a great job keeping the strawberries safe! A two-panel sequence where Hex wakes up late on a summer night. The sun doesn't set fully at this time of year so it's still decently light outside. He looks out from his bed, his red hair shaggy from sleep, and stares out through the kitchen window, past the chicken coop and the pasture, into the woods. Beckoning? Finally... He thinks to himself.

Full color digital art illustration with a detailed background (actually a comic page) from my Out of Memory webcomic. It is a dark fantasy and horror comic (with a tiny slice of sci-fi) about a pacifistic warrior and his journey to find the truth about his family. The drawing depicts the morally ambiguous character "Yaoshe Baiqiao" (aka. "Yao") sitting leisurely in a traditional Chinese-style room. He is an influential politician and schemer who appears to be allied with the main protagonist. He is an elegant bishie (pretty boy) who appears to be in his late twenties or early thirties, with long, curly medium purple hair that extends past his shoulders and pink eyes with white pupils. He is wearing an elaborate red and purple outfit that resembles traditional Chinese hanfu and is holding a pipe that is shaped like a serpent's head in his right hand. Yao’s outfit is extremely expensive and is decorated with a good amount of gold and gemstones. His boots and sash are especially elaborate and have large, teardrop-shaped rubies embedded in them. Yao has an enigmatic smile on his face. A large wisp of pink smoke can be seen emanating from the mouth of the pipe. Created using Clip Studio Paint. Cover for the first volume of my Out of Memory comic. It features Kurosawa Makoto (黒澤 誠, "sincere black marsh") / Zhen Xinyi (真 心意, multiple meanings) and Baiqiao Yaoshe (白橋 妖蛇, “demonic snake of the white bridge”). The two characters are lying in a lotus pond, with Makoto lying on the surface and Yao being partially submerged. Makoto is wearing light fantasy armor with a subtle crow theme. He’s covering part of his face with his left hand, and a single tear is streaming down his face. Yao is wearing a regal black robe that resembles traditional Chinese attire. He is wearing snake-themed jewelry and light shoulder armor. He has an unreadable smile on his face, and his gaze is turned towards Makoto. Cover for Out of Memory - Chapter 5. It features Makoto Kurosawa (real name: Zhen Xinyi) sitting in a well-lit deck with Chinese-style windows, enjoying afternoon tea and snacks. The deck is several stories above ground, as the sky and the upper branches of a tree are all that’s visible through the open windows. In one of the panels, crows are shown flying in the sky. Makoto is sitting at a wooden table. Both the table and the bench he’s sitting on have matching hand-carved decorations. He’s holding a teacup in his gloved right hand, and his left hand is partially hidden by the objects on the table. On top of the table is teapot and a plate of what seems to resemble real-life rice balls. His long bangs are covering his eyes, hiding most of his expression. Makoto is wearing a fantasy version of traditional East Asian attire. Even if his outfit were drawn in full color, it would all be different shades of black and white. The collar of his outfit covers most of his neck and ends just below his chin. His long, white cape starts at the base of the collar and extends almost all the way to the ground. Since Makoto is sitting, a good portion of the cape is tucked away and to the side. Dialog: ???: Makoto. Heap is in imminent danger of being overrun. Makoto: I see. From the Out of Memory - Prologue. Princess Sheng Feng is shown falling from a great height, as the building she was hiding in is shown crumbling in the background. The brooch she wears at her waist emits a powerful light. Shortly after, a small white phoenix emerges from the brooch, and Sheng Feng reaches desperately for her. The phoenix grabs onto the back of Sheng Feng's collar, breaking her fall. They turn to face a large Chinese-style house, which has ominous wisps of smoke emanating from it.
