The first 3 The Mighty Nein episodes were so good. It's so strong right out of the gate, and treating the campaign as a first draft instead of making a direct adaptation is serving it really well

Did you know that big studios monitor piracy? Don't you fucking dare pirate this shit. Do not hate watch through piracy. JK Rowling is a disgusting human being that funds and encourages the hurt, pain and death of my fellow trans peers.

Support media that actually deserves our time and money.

Ohoho, my game combat prototype is getting quite playable! Soon I can find out... If it's any good at all and worth continuing working on

wow that survey GOG sent around has the weirdest questions.
"GOG is a part of me and who I am as a player" wtf? It's just a digital games store!

idk who needs to hear this but you don't have to be a certain age to start something. start dance, take up cooking, try to learn the new language you've been wanting to learn. you got this and I believe in you.

it's never to late to start a new chapter

My partner still plays the game we made at my last job and that's reeeeally rewarding. We did a good job for the person I care the most about! :D

I am increasingly of the opinion that people who change menus and look and feel of computer software just so that you know it's a new version should be personally forced to play tech support to my mother for five months.

Do you think after the dad games of the 2010s in like one to two decades we'll have a slew of granddad games?

Just fucking insane to see the absolute (intentional) collapse of full remote jobs available for AAA studios in so short a time. Why would I EVER move for a job again when I could be laid off weeks after moving my entire life across the globe??

It's unfortunate that the game I dreamt had deck building. I'm so bad at deck building and just designing it at all. Now that I'm making that game I'm forced to do it!

Adoring the amount of comments on the Wuthering Heights movie trailer going "Love Story??????"

The news is out that my old studio (Massive Miniteam) is no more. It's really sad. It's incredible how the game and the team grew over the years, and I can guarantee that every single person that came out of that studio is damned excellent and a boon to any studio who hires them.

Don't supermarkets know that when I buy something, they have to offer it forever, because I'll forever rely on it and will be distraught if it's no linger available?
The audacity of just changing what they sell without consulting me specifically!

Oh my god, I completely forgot Sankt Martin exists. Last time I had any contact with it was probably exactly 30 years ago.
While the neighbour's kid was singing, I was desperately trying to remember what you give in return. Then tried to remember if we even had any Halloween candy left to give.

The amount of folks saying that I'm brave for speaking out because of the article, thanks. I'm doing my best.

It's hurt my career but it's worth it.

When I go to bed I feel like I've done my best and I wasn't complicit in hurting people. That is important to me

Argh, after having a heated discussion with my dad about genAI (where he said people won't listen to me if I'm absolutist and don't acknowledge the positive things. Then he listed a couple of examples which weren't genAI), he now sends me an article where Mark Cuban says "AI is good"

Saw they're doing a Wicked double feature at the cinema, which is great for me, considering i couldn't go when part one was running. But now I checked the runtime and I'm not sure I can manage watching both movies in a row for 5-6 hours! That's so long!

KPop Demon Hunters singalong in the cinema was a lot of fun!
Though it was super hard to overcome the instinct to not make any noise at all during a movie. And I was clearly not alone with that. I think I could only hear people outside of my group singing when we got to the last song.

In my limited experience writers block is what happens when you haven’t brought together enough disparate yet compatible ideas yet, and it’s always a good thing.

The other thing is burnout. AI might help with that, I suppose, in the same way that young people help with aging by partying for you

having to talk with a "digital assistant" instead of a human when calling a doctor or customer support is the worst. So much worse than having to speak with a real human on the phone, and that's already plenty bad.
